The Palliative Hub - Adult

All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC) in collaboration with key stakeholders from the hospice and palliativ care sector have developed The Palliative Hub – Adult to provide an overview of hospice and palliative care for adults and to offer a central resource that people can access to find useful information, guidance and services. This access is provided via links and downloadable documents. The Palliative Journey has been used as a model of navigation for the website and is aimed at making it easier for people to find the information that is relevant to them in the easiest possible manner.
The website is aimed at adults with palliative care needs, their family members and carer’s, including the wider public engaged with someone with a palliative need. It was developed due to a recognised need from within the palliative care community, both in the Republic of Ireland and in Northern Ireland, for a dedicated website about palliative care for adults.
Throughout the website you will see a number of photos, stories and quotes. All of these elements are of people who are or have been through palliative care services in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. We would like to especially thank them for allowing us to share their photos and experiences.
